The goal of the Foundation is to promote the use of fixed fire suppression systems and to prevent large fire losses (human, financial, social, environmental).

The Foundation pursues its goals through:

  1. Popularization of reliable knowledge and intensification of the exchange of information and views in the field of:
    • advantages, benefits of using fixed fire suppression systems and examples of successes resulting from their use
    • technology of fixed fire suppression systems – principles of operation, design, acceptance, maintenance, etc.
    • causes of large fire losses
    • domestic and foreign statistical data on fires and losses
    • social and economic consequences of large fires
    • environmental losses due to large fires
  2. Supporting:
    • education about fixed suppression systems among fire brigade officers, architects, designers, chartered experts, insurers, facility managers, investors, etc.
    • rational development of legal and formal conditions in the area of fixed fire suppression systems
    • research and scientific work in the area of preventing large fire losses
    • development of fixed fire suppression systems as an effective means of preventing large fire losses and increasing the level of awareness on this subject in relevant environments
    • development of high-quality design and installation services in the field of fixed fire suppression systems, as well as their certification and inspection
    • the idea and need for independent audit and insurance services as an interconnected system influencing the prevention of large fire losses
